New Release: FEELING THE RHYTHM

Ladies and gentlemen, it's with great pleasure and excitement that I announce the release of my newest book, FEELING THE RHYTHM!

It's currently available at MLR Press in all ebook formats: http://www.mlrbooks.com/ShowBook.php?book=SJF_RTHM

The print edition will be coming soon too, in about 2-3 weeks.

I can't even begin to describe how thrilled I am to have Brad and Remmy's story go live for the world. Their story has been in the works for a long time, and I know many folks have been waiting for it for almost as long. I'm very thankful to everyone who's wanted to read this book, and who have offered me so much encouragement with your excitement about it. Now that the Conquest boys are back, I hope very much that everyone who decides to hang out with them once again will enjoy this new story, and getting to know Brad and Remmy a little better.

Blurb:
Brad Delfini once had the world in his hands, but misfortunes and bad decisions showed him just how quickly the spotlight can go dark. For years, he was struggling to get by, until a fateful phone call brought him to famed rock band, Conquest. Since becoming their drummer, he’s hit the top of fame again, and he has all he could ever want. Except for one thing. As Conquest’s world tour draws to a close, that missed chance leaves him filled with regrets.

Remmy Laurent has been a roadie since he graduated high school, but years of being on the move have worn him down. He decides it’s time to quit and bring some stability into his life. He just wanted to finish out this one last tour with his favorite band; Conquest. It hasn’t been an easy tour, for many reasons, but most of all because no matter how hard he tried to deny it, he lost his heart to a man who he thinks barely knows he exists.

When the last concert is played, Brad and Remmy both believe they’ll never see each other again, but a little friendly intervention brings them together once more. As they begin to know each other in a whole new way, Brad must somehow make peace with his past if he and Remmy are going to have a future.

    1. Thank you so very, very much! I know it's a pretty big book at 91k words, about 300 pages, so that's such a wonderful compliment that you read it one session! I'm just thrilled hearing you enjoyed it :D

  3. You're welcome.
I loved the book and I didn't want it to end. I think I fell in love with Jesse all over again, especially after reading this amazing scene at the end. The lyrics are awesome and so fitting.
I've added a full review on Goodreads.

  4. Thank you, thank you, thank you. It feels like I have waited forever for this story. But then- good thinks come to those who wait!
I loved it. It was so cute and heartbreakingly sweet. Remmy is just so adorable .... Like Gabriella I also couldn´t put the book down and read it in one sitting - that´s how good it was.
I know that you said that you are going to take a (well-deserved) break from writing, but I am going to be naughty and add Tanner´s story to my S.J. wishlist for next year. Since it worked so well with Brad´s story am having my fingers crossed ;-)
    Have a great Xmas! Katrin

    1. Great idea Katrin. I'd also love to read about Tanner, even though he's not my favorite...

    2. Thank you very, very much, Katrin! I get to start my day off with a big smile after reading how much you enjoyed Feeling the Rhythm and getting another sweet compliment of how you read it in one sitting :D It makes me so happy you liked Brad and Remmy, and you're right, Remmy is a total sweetheart. I can say as far as Tanner goes, I do hope to write something with him in 2013. Can't have a cutie like him running around single! Thank you again for reading FtR, and letting me know you enjoyed it!

Hey, Gabriella! Tanner does have a lot of growing up to do, so I can understand not fully connecting with him. I already know when I sit down to work with him on his story, he's going to be hard to keep up with, lol!

    3. 2013 for Tanner's story sounds great. I don't know if it makes sense, but with Tanner I want to hug him and beat him at the same time. Some things he says and does are insensitive and then he's being kind and caring. It's like being hot and cold at the same time. Does that make sense???
Well, I'd love to read about Tanner growing up.

    4. That makes perfect sense, because I think a lot of the guys in the stories feel that way too, especially Quinn. He loves Tanner, but Tanner can also frustrate him to no end. Tanner's a good guy, but he's careless, doesn't always consider what he's doing or what he's saying, and how it can effect others. He's something of a wild child, lol! I appreciate you wanting to read his story! Hopefully I'll do a good job in helping him find his way!

  5. You did an awesome job writing Brad and Remmy's story. I loved them together so much! They made the perfect couple. The Conquest series is the best!!! I have to agree with the others. I would love to read Tanner's story sometime in the future. I bet he will be a handful. :D

Thanks again for another great book! :)

    1. Thanks so much, Lisa! I'm so happy to hear I did well with Brad and Remmy's story :D I thought they were a beautiful couple when I was writing it, both of them being such sweet, good guys :-) I do hope to get around to Tanner in 2013, and hopefully be able to keep a handle on him when I do, lol! Thank you again so much for reading Brad and Remmy!

  6. OMG You are so AWESOME! I just finished FTR and I am so happy with how you handled Brad, I don't really care for GFY stories. Most times they feel so forced and I was so concerned that would happen to Brad. BUT NO! You rocked this story with your talent and skills. And I was just so happy to read this story...and sad to realize it is all over. The Conquest boys are settled. I'm feeling another re-read of Conquest is needed (Probably my third or fourth-Jesse and Evan never get old).

Can't wait to hear about what you planning for the new year!

    1. Aww, that's so sweet of you, Valerie *hugs* Thank you very, very much! I'm ecstatic to hear you enjoyed Brad and Remmy :D I'm glad to hear I was able to sidestep pitfalls you don't usually care for, too. It's true, all the Conquest boys are settled now. It makes me sad also, but happy because they're happy, if that makes sense. I just have one more rocker boy to get settled, and that's Tanner. And it's possible I might write a novella with Brandon and Shunichi, because there's something they still need to do, as Jesse was teasing Brandon about ;-) And it makes me so happy hearing you continue to enjoy Jesse and Evan through your re-reads! Thank you again, so much!
