Release Date: Heart's Gamble

Wow! Two posts in one day! I think that's a record for me ;-) But I wanted to stop by, as I promised I would, because I now have a release date on Heart's Gamble. My amazing editor at MLR Press told me that we're looking at September 16th. Not too far away at all!

In the post below, I wrote a bit more about the story and shared the blurb. My thanks to everyone who is interested in this sweet little romance novella :-)

New Cover Art and Blurb: Heart's Gamble

Hey there, everyone! I can't believe it's the first day of August! Fall is fast approaching, my little guy goes back school this month, and it feels like summer has flown by. It's been a busy and fun summer, and I have to plead guilty that I haven't been getting much writing done. I do, though, have two main projects started that I'll be throwing myself into this fall to finish and get ready for 2017. But more on those later ;-) Right now, I want to share with y'all about my next release!

I know some of you may recognize this title, I've mentioned it a few times, and now the book is finally going to see the light of day. As of right now, it's slated for a September release at MLR Press. Don't have an exact date yet, but once I do, I'll be sure to share it. For now, I'm thrilled to share the cover art and blurb to Heart's Gamble! This is a shorter, stand-alone novella. It's roughly about 30,000 words, and it's a sweet story with a focus on hope and second chances.

The cover art was made by fellow author and artist, Lex Valentine, and her graphics and design service, Winterheart Design. I think the cover is beautiful! I love the colors, and the horse looks so much like the namesake of the story, Thoroughbred mare, Heart's Gamble.

Being a horse owner myself and having helped some horses move on to better situations, this is a special story for me. I hope everyone will enjoy it when it releases :-)

Shawn Carlisle has dedicated his life to rescuing horses. Having grown up around the Thoroughbred racing industry, he knows for every champion racehorse, there are thousands more who end up broken and forgotten. New Cover Art and Blurb: Model Love

I've just caught my breath from the release of Demon Duke, Paranormal Nobles Book 2, and now here I am again with more release news! I'm happy to announce that the re-release of Model Love will be July 8th at MLR Press. Yay!

There haven't been many changes in the story, but it's been revised and it's in for a round of fresh editing right now. This one will be the last of my re-release titles. I'm still so grateful to MLR Press for picking up the books and giving them a wonderful new home. And happy to get them back out for everyone to read again! With this book being the last re-release, my releases will probably slow down a bit.

I gotta say, I'm in love with the new cover for Model Love. It was made by Lex Valentine, fellow author and wonderful cover artist of Winterheart Design. Lex has made many covers for me, including all the Instincts covers, the covers for Black Heart Down, Heartstrings, and Feeling the Rhythm. I send out my thanks to her for another of her beautiful covers!

And now I'm thrilled to re-introduce (and introduce for the very first time) Ian and Temaru to everyone!

Cover Art and Blurb: Protective Instincts

Hi there, everyone! After being quiet for a while on the writing front, I have some news to share...an update on my next release, Protective Instincts. This is going to be Book 6 in the Instincts series, and if you've read the series, you just might be familiar with the two leads vamps. Yep, Daniel Valente and Ryunosuke Kimura have returned! They previously were the main characters in Book 2, Enduring Instincts and have made several appearances in the series.

I just got the cover this past weekend, made by the awesome Lex Valentine, who along with being a wonderful cover artist, is also a fantastic author. I'm always thrilled to get another cover by Lex. I love in this one that she included the Tokyo skyline and the man drawing the katana :D

The story is still in edits with MLR Press. As of this moment, it has a tentative release date of August 28th. It'll go live at MLR Press first, then will quickly roll out to Amazon, AllRomance eBooks, and other vendors.

I absolutely loved working with my Instincts vampires again! I hope everyone will enjoy seeing them come back!

Cover Art and Blurb: REFINED INSTINCTS

Hey there, everyone! I'm incredibly happy to share with everyone the cover art and blurb for my next release, REFINED INSTINCTS, Book 5 in the Instincts series!

This is another cover made by the multi-talented Lex Valentine of Winterheart Design. I'm sure some of you have heard me gush on Lex before, but for those who haven't, she's an amazing author along with having a great artistic eye for making book covers and she's made several of my covers. I really love what she did with this cover. The model to the left has that dark, brooding ruggedness that I picture for Troy. The model to the right has those sharp, aristocratic features and refinement that I think of with Renart. And I think the whole cover has a dark, but elegant look to it, complete with the Chicago skyline. My thanks to Lex for all her hard work on this cover!

Edits are about to begin on this book and we're looking at a November release date...tentatively November 1st. But don't hold me to that! There are a few new factors in my personal life that could make it so I'm not moving through edits and writing as fast as I used to. Don't worry, nothing bad :-) Mostly, I've gone through an employment change for a day job and with my new job, I won't have computer time, so that means no sneaking in author work during the day.

Cover Art Reveal: ADAPTING INSTINCTS

Hey, guys and girls! I promised as soon as I had the cover for ADAPTING INSTINCTS, that I'd unveil it, and here it is! This is another cover from Winterheart Design and made by the multi-talented, Lex Valentine, who is not only a wonderful cover artist, but a fantastic author, as well.

Now some may call me biased, but I absolutely love this cover! The model represents Carl, and he's an excellent Carl, at that! Since the book has scenes in Chicago and Norway, I think Lex did a wonderful job blending the two locations in the background.

As of right now, things are still looking good for the book to release on March 15th at MLR Press, barring any hiccups we hit as we're editing. Fingers crossed none of those happen! I hope everyone likes the cover for Carl and Egill's story, and will enjoy the book behind it!

Giveaway News and New Cover Art: FEELING THE RHYTHM

Ladies and gentleman, it's with great happiness that I reveal the cover of my upcoming novel, FEELING THE RHYTHM! This is another beautiful cover crafted and designed by the wonderfully talented, Lex Valentine of Winterheart Design. I think she did a fantastic job, and she was even able to capture the spirit of some of the earlier covers, NO FEAR and KEYS TO LOVE, with the lights and stage faded in the background.

As some of you may know, FEELING THE RHYTHM, will technically be Book 7 in the Conquest series. If you're new to the Conquest series, the order goes:

Ladies and gentlemen, it's my pleasure to unveil the cover and blurb for my upcoming release, LOVING INSTINCTS, Book 3 in the Instincts series. Woo hoo! This cover was made by the talented Lex Valentine of Winterheart Design, who some of you may recall I've mentioned here before. She's done the covers for all the Instincts series, HEARTSTRINGS, and BLACK HEART DOWN, and I'm thrilled to have another cover by her!

LOVING INSTINCTS is going to bring things back to Titus and Andreas from the first one, NATURAL INSTINCTS. As of right now, the book is in edits, but my editor and I are hoping to have it ready for a July/August release. No promises, though! It just depends on how quickly we move through edits, and it's a very long book, so I'm predicting editing to take a while.

When it does release, I hope very much that everyone will enjoy spending time with Titus and Andreas again!

Cover Art & Blurb for HEARTSTRINGS

Hello, ladies and gentlemen! It's with great pleasure that I unveil to you the cover art and blurb for my next novel, HEARTSTRINGS. As of right now, I don't have a release date for it, but I'm thinking it should probably be within a couple months. Once I have a more concrete date, I'll be sure to post it here for everyone. I only just turned it in to my editor at MLR Press about a week ago, so she has to find some wiggle room in her schedule to fit it in.

This story is tied to the Conquest "world", as the new band in it, Lions Rampant, is freshly signed to Phoenix Records, and as some of you may remember, they're the label for Conquest, Evan Arden, and Black Heart Down. It kind of hit me that as far as the Conquest series goes, Phoenix can really be a center point for connecting all the artists. There will be some familiar faces making appearances in this book, but mostly it's about classical violinist, Las Lamont, and Lions Rampant. And yep, that's a lion rampant on the cover, a symbol of Scotland, which is where the band's name comes from. And yeah, that's a guy in a black leather kilt, too. A little glimpse of what you'll get to read about in the book ;-) This lovely cover is another one I'm proud to have from Winterheart Design, crafted by the talented Lex Valentine.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm absolutely thrilled to share the shiny new cover and blurb for my upcoming m/m vampire novel, ENDURING INSTINCTS!  This beautiful cover was made by Winterheart Design, and the amazingly talented, Lex Valentine.  I'm ecstatic at how it turned out!  Lex did a fantastic job yet again for me.  She also designed the covers of NATURAL INSTINCTS and BLACK HEART DOWN.  She has such incredible skills and I can't thank her enough for all her hard work!

ENDURING INSTINCTS will be published by MLR Press and it's the sequel to NATURAL INSTINCTS in the Instincts Series.  There will be at least one more story for sure in that series.  As of right now, I don't have a release date to share, but it's looking like it'll be this Fall.  It's hard for me to really even speculate at this time since we haven't started editing it yet, but as soon as I have a more solid idea, I'll let y'all know.
