I'm a Flirty Author Bitch

No, really, I am.  Well, in the sense that I'm part of the Flirty Author Bitches blog team.  Though, I have been called all three of those words in my life, just never all of them together until I was invited to take part in FAB ;-)  I've been part of the team for some while now, but it hit me I may not have mentioned that here, so now I am!  FAB is a blog made up of many authors including Lex Valentine, Charlie Cochrane, KC Burn, I mean the list is huge.  And then there's me, and I'm incredibly proud and humbled to share a blog with so many amazingly talented authors.

How FAB works is that everyday of the week, a different author writes a post.  It may be on writing, rants, life in general, any variety of topics.  My blog day is the first Thursday of every month, so I posted just this week.  And what did I write about?  "Insta-love" in M/M romance and my opinion on it.  You can see the post HERE, if you're curious to what I had to say.  You can also find a few other posts by me there, though not long ago, the site had to go through an overhaul and many of the older posts were lost.

So now that you all know about me being a Flirty Author Bitch, feel welcomed to stop by the FAB blog, and not just for me, but for all the very talented authors who post there every day!

Song of the Week - "Moves Like Jagger" by Maroon 5

It's been a while since I posted a song or some Weekly Inspiration, so I thought I'd offer a little of both at once in this Song of the Week post, since this video has the lead singer of Maroon 5, Adam Levine, shirtless and getting his rock star swagger on.  Yeah, watching him in this video reminds me why I've written so much about rock stars ;-)  So he's the inspiration part of this post.  For the song part, this is Maroon 5's newest single, and I have to say, I kinda love it.  How can you not love a song that's paying homage to one of the greatest rockers of all time, Mick Jagger?  Not to mention how sexy the lyrics are.  It takes a little while in the video before the music gets going, almost a minute, but trust me, it's worth the wait.

For more about Maroon 5, you can check out their official website: http://www.maroon5.com/  You can also find all the links to their social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter there, and where you can purchase this song.

And now for my don't sue me message.  I claim no ownership or rights to this video, song, lyrics, music, imagery, Adam Levine (sadly), or anything Maroon 5.  All belongs to the rightful copyright holder(s).  Enjoy!

Character Stats

Hello, everyone!  I just wanted to drop a quick note here letting you guys know that I've added a new page to my website, http://www.sjfrost.com/  It's called Character Stats, and when you bring your cursor to it, a drop down menu will pop up with the names of all the main characters and important secondary characters from my books.  On their individual pages, you'll find things like their full name, birthday, pets, hobbies/interests, etc...  Most of the information is taken directly from the stories, but some of it is new.

I did this because I thought it would be nice for readers to have a quick reference for my guys and it might be fun to see some facts on them.  With new books that are released, the pages will be updated as those characters' stories change.  And if there is anything little fact about them you'd like to know, but that isn't listed, feel welcomed to suggest it to me!  I hope you all like seeing some fun tidbits on my guys!

Weekly Inspiration - Caleb Lane

For this week's inspiration, I offer to you Texas-born model, Caleb Lane.  He's been around the modeling circuit for many years, and in that time, he's worked for Calvin Klein, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Kenneth Cole, and many other top designers.  He also enjoys writing (yay!) and is an author, having published a book called the Model's Bible.  I searched around for the book, because I wanted to link it, but I was having trouble locating where it could be purchased.  It may be that it's more of an industry title than a mass market one since it seems to be mainly focused toward how to become a successful model, along with some details from his modeling career.

I sadly couldn't find anything that seemed like an official website, Facebook, or Twitter for him, but a search around the Net will pull up many more pics of him and a few interviews for those who'd like to learn more about him.  Enjoy!
