Character Stats

Hello, everyone!  I just wanted to drop a quick note here letting you guys know that I've added a new page to my website, http://www.sjfrost.com/  It's called Character Stats, and when you bring your cursor to it, a drop down menu will pop up with the names of all the main characters and important secondary characters from my books.  On their individual pages, you'll find things like their full name, birthday, pets, hobbies/interests, etc...  Most of the information is taken directly from the stories, but some of it is new.

I did this because I thought it would be nice for readers to have a quick reference for my guys and it might be fun to see some facts on them.  With new books that are released, the pages will be updated as those characters' stories change.  And if there is anything little fact about them you'd like to know, but that isn't listed, feel welcomed to suggest it to me!  I hope you all like seeing some fun tidbits on my guys!

Weekly Inspiration - Caleb Lane

For this week's inspiration, I offer to you Texas-born model, Caleb Lane.  He's been around the modeling circuit for many years, and in that time, he's worked for Calvin Klein, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Kenneth Cole, and many other top designers.  He also enjoys writing (yay!) and is an author, having published a book called the Model's Bible.  I searched around for the book, because I wanted to link it, but I was having trouble locating where it could be purchased.  It may be that it's more of an industry title than a mass market one since it seems to be mainly focused toward how to become a successful model, along with some details from his modeling career.

I sadly couldn't find anything that seemed like an official website, Facebook, or Twitter for him, but a search around the Net will pull up many more pics of him and a few interviews for those who'd like to learn more about him.  Enjoy!

New Cover and Blurb: ENDURING INSTINCTS

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm absolutely thrilled to share the shiny new cover and blurb for my upcoming m/m vampire novel, ENDURING INSTINCTS!  This beautiful cover was made by Winterheart Design, and the amazingly talented, Lex Valentine.  I'm ecstatic at how it turned out!  Lex did a fantastic job yet again for me.  She also designed the covers of NATURAL INSTINCTS and BLACK HEART DOWN.  She has such incredible skills and I can't thank her enough for all her hard work!

ENDURING INSTINCTS will be published by MLR Press and it's the sequel to NATURAL INSTINCTS in the Instincts Series.  There will be at least one more story for sure in that series.  As of right now, I don't have a release date to share, but it's looking like it'll be this Fall.  It's hard for me to really even speculate at this time since we haven't started editing it yet, but as soon as I have a more solid idea, I'll let y'all know.

And now, it's my pleasure to share with you the cover and blurb for ENDURING INSTINCTS!

BLURB:
Vampire Daniel Valente struggles to live on his own, now that his master, Titus Antonius Calidus, has found eternal love with another.  Carrying mental and emotional scars, he lives in loneliness and feels as though he's lost who he once was.

Ryunosuke Kimura has known Daniel for hundreds of years, and loved him for many of them.  Even though he believes Titus is the only one Daniel wants to give his heart to, when he hears Daniel needs his support, he rushes to be with him.

With Ryu at his side, Daniel's confidence returns, and with it, he sees the enduring love Ryu has always had for him.  As they grow closer, new threats from old enemies arise, and if Daniel and Ryunosuke are to spend eternity together, they must first defeat the past.

Song of the Week - "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi

So for the Song of the Week, I'm going with one of my all time favorite bands, Bon Jovi.  Yep, I've adored them since I was a teenager, and we won't go into how long ago that was ;-)  This song, "It's My Life", is one of my favorites, but my list of favorites by them is huge.  I heard this one on the radio this week, though, and it reminded me of my love for it.

To learn more about Bon Jovi, head on over to their official website: http://www.bonjovi.com/  And you guys know the drill, here's my don't sue me message...I claim no ownership or rights to this video, song, music, lyrics, or anything Bon Jovi.  All belong to the rightful copyright holder(s).  Enjoy!

Weekly Inspiration - Steven Retchless

It's been so long since I've posted some Weekly Inspiration, I thought I'd do something a little different this time around.  Normally I just put up pics, but this week, I thought I'd give you guys some videos of a beautifully talented male pole dancer, Steven Retchless.

I have to admit, I've been addicted to the TV show, America's Got Talent, this season, and he's a big part of why.  His performances are absolutely captivating!  Even more, I think it's wonderful to see a man so confident in himself and his sexuality.  When he dances, his performances are artistic, sensual, and all around beautiful.  Not to mention his incredible body strength and flexibility.  I was so happy to see him make it into the semi-finals of the show, and I'm pulling for him to win it all.  I'll be voting for him!  But even if he doesn't win, I think he's done a lot in showing how sexy a man can be when he embraces who he is.

Hope you all enjoy his dancing as much as I do!  Of the videos, I think the last one is my favorite.  Oh, and just ignore Piers Morgan.  His comments aren't worth attention and if I could've found clips without him, I would've posted those to not give him further voice.  But the talent Steven exudes by far outweighs anything Piers has to say, in my humble opinion.  If you'd like to learn more about Steven Retchless, here is his website, http://www.sretchless.com/FACEBOOK, and YouTube Channel.

And just a quick don't sue me message, I claim no ownership to these videos, imagery, or music.  All belongs to the rightful copyright holder(s).  And these videos are curtesy of the America's Got Talent website. Enjoy!
