Awesome review for NATURAL INSTINCTS at Jessewave

Hey, everyone!  I just had to pass on that over on Jessewave my new m/m vampire novel, NATURAL INSTINCTS got a very nice review and 4.25 stars out of 5.  Woo hoo!  I have to give a huge thank you to the reviewer, Feliz, for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review and for their praise of the story.  I was beyond thrilled to read things in the review such as the world building was unique and the story stands out among other vampire books.  Thank you!

For any who'd like to check out the review, here's the link: http://www.reviewsbyjessewave.com/2011/04/26/natural-instincts/

Song of the Week - "Gotta Be Somebody" by Nickelback

Woo hoo!  I'm actually getting a song up this week!   Yeah, it might not seem like a great accomplishment, but I take my victories where I can get them.  And for this week, Nickelback gets the Song of the Week spot with one of my favorite songs by them.  Not to mention since I've heard it four times on the radio on two different stations in the past week, after having not heard it for months, I took it as a hint it wanted to be the Song of the Week ;-)

While I was looking for the video, I discovered Nickelback doesn't like having their official videos shared, but I did find this video of just the album cover and song.  Which sometimes it's nice to just listen to the song without all the flashy, distracting video imagery.  To learn more about Nickelback, you can CLICK HERE for a huge fanclub site.  I don't know if it's supposed to be Nickelback's official website, it doesn't say, but it was the closest thing I could find, which was odd.  Usually finding websites for popular artists is super easy.

As always, I have no ownership rights to this video, song, lyrics, music, imagery, or anything Nickelback.  All belong to the rightful copyright holder(s).  Enjoy!

Great Review For NATURAL INSTINCTS!

I'm very happy to share this news!  My new m/m vampire erotic romance novel, NATURAL INSTINCTS, was reviewed on Dark Divas Reviews, and received a 5 diva rating and the honor of being a Recommended Read!  I'm beyond ecstatic!  The review itself is wonderfully done and I can't thank the reviewer, Lasha, enough for such kind praise.

To see the review, please CLICK HERE.  And now, I'm going to continue with my happy dancing :D

Weekly Inspiration - Benjamin Godfre

I know, I'm doing so bad these days at getting the Weekly Inspiration and Song of the Week up, and last week I missed posting a song again.  But I was kidnapped by rock stars!  Okay, not literally.  I got the edits back on my next rocker novel, BLACK HEART DOWN, and I had to work on those.  The good news is, the first round of edits are done.  Woo hoo!

And now, onto your inspiration.  For this week, I'm offering you American male model, Benjamin Godfre, who I've also seen listed around as Ben Godfre.  Along with modeling, he's an avid skateboarder.  Which I'm once again reminded of the skater boy short story I've had sitting on ice for ages.  Really need to dust that one off.  I was able to track down some info on Ben, and if you'd like to learn more about him, CLICK HERE for his profile at Model Mayhem, where it has links to his Facebook, Twitter, and more.  Enjoy!

I'm Telling It All!

Okay, maybe I'm not telling it all.  A girl has to keep some secrets to herself, you know.  But the lovely and talented erotic romance author, Rebecca Leigh, was kind enough to have me over to her blog for her "Tell All Tuesday" feature and she asks me some great questions.  If you'd like a little more insight into my writer's self, head on over!  Plus, if you haven't checked out Rebecca's work before, this is a great time to do so!  Whether you enjoy m/m, m/f, paranormal, contemporary...you name it, she can craft a fantastic story about it.  And yeah, there's no shortage of steaminess ;-)

To see what she and I chatted about, CLICK HERE.  And another big thank you to Rebecca for having me over at her place!

Weekly Inspiration - Janice Fronimakis

Apologies that this week's inspiration is so late.  I've been having a little trouble keeping up with life these days, but I figured better late than never!  So for this week, I'm presenting to you model Janice Fronimakis.  He was born in Holland, and if what I read is correct, he's also of Greek descent.  Actually, for a model as successful as he is, it was tricky digging up biographical info on him.  He's worked for Dolce & Gabbana, and is a favorite of Giorgio Armani with having led their fall/winter 2010 ad campaign (a couple of those pics are included below).

Even though there are people using his name and image on Facebook and Twitter, I couldn't find anything guaranteed to be official to direct you guys to.  Sorry!  But there are many more pics of him around the Internet if this isn't enough of him for ya.  Enjoy!

Song of the Week - "My Life Would Suck Without You" by Kelly Clarkson

Woo hoo!  I'm finally getting a song up!  And it's one I have all kinds of love for.  Those who stop by regularly may remember when I put up Adam Lambert with "If I Had You" as Song of the Week, how I also went into a long digression about American Idol.  I said it wasn't until this season and with thanks to Steven Tyler that I've watched the show.  But you know, even though I've missed years of Idol, I have stayed up on the winners, and of all the winners and runners-up, Kelly Clarkson is one of my favorites.  I think she's got a great style to her, both musically and in every other way.

With this song, I love the beat and how she sings it.  But also, the lyrics remind me of a couple of my characters and their relationship.  It just hit me yesterday when I was driving and heard this song on the radio.  I was listening and then, wham!, my characters were there.  And nope, their book hasn't come out yet, but they have appeared in a couple of my other works.  Yeah, I know.  I'm being mean for not saying directly who it is.  Sorry!  It's author's privilege ;-)

If you'd like to learn more about Kelly Clarkson, here's her official website: http://kellyclarkson.com/

And you know I have to do it; my Don't Sue Me message.  I claim no ownership or rights to this video, song, music, imagery, lyrics, or anything Kelly Clarkson.  All belong to the right copyright holder(s).  And now, enjoy!

New Release: NATURAL INSTINCTS

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm thrilled to announce the release of my m/m vampire erotic romance novel, NATURAL INSTINCTS!  It just went live at MLR Press!  It's available on their website in many ebook formats, and soon will be available at other vendors and in print.

I'm very excited about this novel with it being my first foray into writing vampires, and I hope all who read it, will enjoy it.  To view it at MLR Press, CLICK HERE.

And now, a big welcome to the world to my main characters, Andreas Nikandros and Titus Antonius Calidus!

Blurb:
Andreas Nikandros has one focus, to kill the vampire he believes murdered his sister, and he knows with their greater strength, the surest way to kill a vampire is to become one.  As a zoologist, he’s used to looking at the world from a natural standpoint, but when he sets out on a quest to find a vampire to Turn him, what he finds in Titus Antonius Calidus is the last thing he expected.  Titus has lived for over a thousand years, and in that time has only ever given his heart to one man.  As they follow their natural instincts, they discover something truly worth living forever for, each other.

Weekly Inspiration - Alexandre Verga

I know.  Last week I missed posting a song again.  Apologies!  But, I have yet another good reason, and this one is even better than being sick.  I was very hard at work with my editor and other phenomenal staff at MLR Press finishing up the edits on my m/m vampire erotic romance novel, NATURAL INSTINCTS.  And the good news?  It's finished!  I've given the book my final blessing and it'll be going live at MLR very soon!  Once it does, I'll be sure to post its official release here.

But while I've been a slacker in posting songs for you guys, I'm still trying to make sure I get you your Weekly Inspiration :-)  And for this week, I present to you Brazilian model, Alexandre Verga.  He's modeled for Guess, Abercrombie & Fitch, and many more.  And his brother, Rafael, is also a model, who is sure to get a Weekly Inspiration post in the future.  I couldn't find anything that seemed like an official website, Facebook, or Twitter for Alexandre, but there's plenty of him around the Net for anyone who'd like to see more of him.  And now, enjoy!
